وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنْسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنْبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَائِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَنْ لَمْ يَدْعُنَا إِلَىٰ ضُرٍّ مَسَّهُ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Waitha massa alinsana alddurru daAAana lijanbihi aw qaAAidan aw qaiman falamma kashafna AAanhu durrahu marra kaan lam yadAAuna ila durrin massahu kathalika zuyyina lilmusrifeena ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

Hilali & KhanAnd when harm touches man, he invokes Us, lying on his side, or sitting or standing. But when We have removed his harm from him, he passes on as if he had never invoked Us for a harm that touched him! Thus it is made fair seeming to the wasteful that which they used to do.
Urdu translation
Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور جب انسان کو کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو ہم کو پکارتا ہے لیٹے بھی، بیٹھے بھی، کھڑے بھی۔ پھر جب ہم اس کی تکلیف اس سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں تو وه ایسا ہوجاتا ہے کہ گویا اس نے اپنی تکلیف کے لیے جو اسے پہنچی تھی کبھی ہمیں پکارا ہی نہ تھا، ان حد سے گزرنے والوں کے اعمال کو ان کے لیے اسی طرح خوشنما بنادیا گیا ہے
