وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهِ وَهَمَّ بِهَا لَوْلَا أَنْ رَأَىٰ بُرْهَانَ رَبِّهِ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنَصْرِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوءَ وَالْفَحْشَاءَ إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Walaqad hammat bihi wahamma biha lawla an raa burhana rabbihi kathalika linasrifa AAanhu alssooa waalfahshaa innahu min AAibadina almukhlaseena

Hilali & KhanAnd indeed she did desire him, and he would have inclined to her desire, had he not seen the evidence of his Lord. Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and immoval sins. Surely, he was one of Our Mukhlasin servants.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اس عورت نے یوسف کی طرف قصد کیا اور یوسف اس کا قصد کرتے اگر وه اپنے پروردگار کی دلیل نہ دیکھتے، یونہی ہوا اس واسطے کہ ہم اس سے برائی اور بے حیائی دور کر دیں۔ بے شک وه ہمارے چنے ہوئے بندوں میں سے تھا
