لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَالٍ
Lahu muAAaqqibatun min bayni yadayhi wamin khalfihi yahfathoonahu min amri Allahi inna Allaha la yughayyiru ma biqawmin hatta yughayyiroo ma bianfusihim waitha arada Allahu biqawmin sooan fala maradda lahu wama lahum min doonihi min walin

Hilali & KhanFor him (each person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the command of Allah. Verily, Allah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves. But when Allah wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, and they will find besides Him no protector.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اس کے پہرے دار انسان کے آگے پیچھے مقرر ہیں، جو اللہ کے حکم سے اس کی نگہبانی کرتے ہیں۔ کسی قوم کی حالت اللہ تعالیٰ نہیں بدلتا جب تک کہ وه خود اسے نہ بدلیں جو ان کے دلوں میں ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ جب کسی قوم کی سزا کا اراده کر لیتا ہے تو وه بدﻻ نہیں کرتا اور سوائے اس کے کوئی بھی ان کا کارساز نہیں
