Surah An-Nahl, Ayah 61
النحل · The Bee · verse 61 of 128
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِمْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
Walaw yuakhithu Allahu alnnasa bithulmihim ma taraka AAalayha min dabbatin walakin yuakhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman faitha jaa ajaluhum la yastakhiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona

Hilali & KhanAnd if Allah were to punish (all) mankind for their wrongdoing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving creature, but He defers them to an appointed term; and when their term comes, they can neither delay nor advance it an hour (or a moment).

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اگر لوگوں کے گناه پر اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی گرفت کرتا تو روئے زمین پر ایک بھی جاندار باقی نہ رہتا، لیکن وه تو انہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک ڈھیل دیتا ہے، جب ان کا وه وقت آجاتا ہے تو وه ایک ساعت نہ پیچھے ره سکتے ہیں اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں
