وَإِنْ كَادُوا لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوكَ مِنْهَا وَإِذًا لَا يَلْبَثُونَ خِلَافَكَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
Wain kadoo layastafizzoonaka mina alardi liyukhrijooka minha waithan la yalbathoona khilafaka illa qaleelan

Hilali & KhanAnd verily, they were about to frighten you so much as to drive you out from the land. But in that case, they would not have stayed (therein) after you, except for a little while.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)یہ تو آپ کے قدم اس سرزمین سے اکھاڑنے ہی لگے تھے کہ آپ کو اس سے نکال دیں۔ پھر یہ بھی آپ کے بعد بہت ہی کم ٹھہر پاتے
