Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 109
البقرة · The Cow · verse 109 of 286
وَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًا مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ فَاعْفُوا وَاصْفَحُوا حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ اللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Wadda katheerun min ahli alkitabi law yaruddoonakum min baAAdi eemanikum kuffaran hasadan min AAindi anfusihim min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahumu alhaqqu faoAAfoo waisfahoo hatta yatiya Allahu biamrihi inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun

Hilali & KhanMany of the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish that they could turn you away as disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from their own selves, even after the truth (that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger) has become manifest unto them. But forgive and overlook, till Allah brings His command. Verily, Allah is able to do all things.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)ان اہل کتاب کے اکثر لوگ باوجود حق واضح ہوجانے کے محض حسد وبغض کی بنا پر تمہیں بھی ایمان سے ہٹا دینا چاہتے ہیں، تم بھی معاف کرو اور چھوڑو یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰاپنا حکم ﻻئے۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالے ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے
