Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 165
البقرة · The Cow · verse 165 of 286
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنْدَادًا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ
Wamina alnnasi man yattakhithu min dooni Allahi andadan yuhibboonahum kahubbi Allahi waallatheena amanoo ashaddu hubban lillahi walaw yara allatheena thalamoo ith yarawna alAAathaba anna alquwwata lillahi jameeAAan waanna Allaha shadeedu alAAathabi

Hilali & KhanAnd of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides Allah as rivals (to Allah). They love them as they love Allah. But those who believe, love Allah more (than anything else). If only, those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)بعض لوگ ایسے بھی ہیں جو اللہ کے شریک اوروں کو ٹھہرا کر ان سے ایسی محبت رکھتے ہیں، جیسی محبت اللہ سے ہونی چاہیئے اور ایمان والے اللہ کی محبت میں بہت سخت ہوتے ہیں کاش کہ مشرک لوگ جانتے جب کہ اللہ کے عذاب کو دیکھ کر (جان لیں گے) کہ تمام طاقت اللہ ہی کو ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ سخت عذاب دینے واﻻ ہے (تو ہرگز شرک نہ کرتے)
