Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 187
البقرة · The Cow · verse 187 of 286
أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ إِلَىٰ نِسَائِكُمْ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَهُنَّ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَخْتَانُونَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنْكُمْ فَالْآنَ بَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَابْتَغُوا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّيَامَ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ وَلَا تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنْتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَقْرَبُوهَا كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
Ohilla lakum laylata alssiyami alrrafathu ila nisaikum hunna libasun lakum waantum libasun lahunna AAalima Allahu annakum kuntum takhtanoona anfusakum fataba AAalaykum waAAafa AAankum faalana bashiroohunna waibtaghoo ma kataba Allahu lakum wakuloo waishraboo hatta yatabayyana lakumu alkhaytu alabyadu mina alkhayti alaswadi mina alfajri thumma atimmoo alssiyama ila allayli wala tubashiroohunna waantum AAakifoona fee almasajidi tilka hudoodu Allahi fala taqrabooha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu ayatihi lilnnasi laAAallahum yattaqoona

Hilali & KhanIt is made lawful for you to have sexual relations with your wives on the night of As-Siyam (fasting). They are Libas [i.e., body-cover, or screen] for you and you are Libas for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned to you (accepted your repentance) and forgave you. So now have sexual relations with them and seek that which Allah has ordained for you (offspring), and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your fast till the nightfall. And do not have sexual relations with them (your wives) while you are in I`tikaf in the Masjids. These are the limits (set) by Allah, so approach them not. Thus does Allah make clear His Ayat to mankind that they may acquire Taqwa.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)روزے کی راتوں میں اپنی بیویوں سے ملنا تمہارے لئے حلال کیا گیا، وه تمہارا لباس ہیں اور تم ان کے لباس ہو، تمہاری پوشیده خیانتوں کا اللہ تعالیٰ کو علم ہے، اس نے تمہاری توبہ قبول فرما کر تم سے درگزر فرمالیا، اب تمہیں ان سے مباشرت کی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی لکھی ہوئی چیز کو تلاش کرنے کی اجازت ہے، تم کھاتے پیتے رہو یہاں تک کہ صبح کا سفید دھاگہ سیاه دھاگے سے ﻇاہر ہوجائے۔ پھر رات تک روزے کو پورا کرو اور عورتوں سے اس وقت مباشرت نہ کرو جب کہ تم مسجدوں میں اعتکاف میں ہو۔ یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی حدود ہیں، تم ان کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ۔ اسی طرح اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی آیتیں لوگوں کے لئے بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ وه بچیں
