Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 222
البقرة · The Cow · verse 222 of 286
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطْهُرْنَ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
Wayasaloonaka AAani almaheedi qul huwa athan faiAAtaziloo alnnisaa fee almaheedi wala taqraboohunna hatta yathurna faitha tatahharna fatoohunna min haythu amarakumu Allahu inna Allaha yuhibbu alttawwabeena wayuhibbu almutatahhireena

Hilali & KhanThey ask you concerning menstruation. Say: "That is an Adha, therefore, keep away from women during menses and go not in unto them till they are purified." And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah has ordained for you. Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)آپ سے حیض کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں، کہہ دیجیئے کہ وه گندگی ہے، حالت حیض میں عورتوں سے الگ رہو اور جب تک وه پاک نہ ہوجائیں ان کے قریب نہ جاؤ، ہاں جب وه پاک ہوجائیں تو ان کے پاس جاؤ جہاں سے اللہ نے تمہیں اجازت دی ہے، اللہ توبہ کرنے والوں کو اور پاک رہنے والوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے
