Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 232
البقرة · The Cow · verse 232 of 286
وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَنْ يَنْكِحْنَ أَزْوَاجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَاضَوْا بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Waitha tallaqtumu alnnisaa fabalaghna ajalahunna fala taAAduloohunna an yankihna azwajahunna itha taradaw baynahum bialmaAAroofi thalika yooAAathu bihi man kana minkum yuminu biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri thalikum azka lakum waatharu waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona

Hilali & KhanAnd when you have divorced women and they have fulfilled the term of their prescribed period, do not prevent them from marrying their (former) husbands, if they mutually agree on reasonable basis. This (instruction) is an admonition for him among you who believes in Allah and the Last Day. That is more virtuous and purer for you. Allah knows and you know not.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور جب تم اپنی عورتوں کو طلاق دو اور وه اپنی عدت پوری کرلیں تو انہیں ان کے خاوندوں سے نکاح کرنے سے نہ روکو جب کہ وه آپس میں دستور کے مطابق رضامند ہوں۔ یہ نصیحت انہیں کی جاتی ہے جنہیں تم میں سے اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر یقین وایمان ہو، اس میں تمہاری بہترین صفائی اور پاکیزگی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے
