Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 240
البقرة · The Cow · verse 240 of 286
وَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنْكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا وَصِيَّةً لِأَزْوَاجِهِمْ مَتَاعًا إِلَى الْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي مَا فَعَلْنَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِنَّ مِنْ مَعْرُوفٍ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
Waallatheena yutawaffawna minkum wayatharoona azwajan wasiyyatan liazwajihim mataAAan ila alhawli ghayra ikhrajin fain kharajna fala junaha AAalaykum fee ma faAAalna fee anfusihinna min maAAroofin waAllahu AAazeezun hakeemun

Hilali & KhanAnd those of you who die and leave behind wives should bequeath for their wives a year's maintenance (and residence) without turning them out, but if they (wives) leave, there is no sin on you for that which they do of themselves, provided it is honorable (e.g., lawful marriage). And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)جو لوگ تم میں سے فوت ہوجائیں اور بیویاں چھوڑ جائیں وه وصیت کر جائیں کہ ان کی بیویاں سال بھر تک فائده اٹھائیں انہیں کوئی نہ نکالے، ہاں اگر وه خود نکل جائیں تو تم پر اس میں کوئی گناه نہیں جو وه اپنے لئے اچھائی سے کریں، اللہ تعالیٰ غالب اور حکیم ہے
