Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 264
البقرة · The Cow · verse 264 of 286
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَىٰ كَالَّذِي يُنْفِقُ مَالَهُ رِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْهِ تُرَابٌ فَأَصَابَهُ وَابِلٌ فَتَرَكَهُ صَلْدًا لَا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tubtiloo sadaqatikum bialmanni waalatha kaallathee yunfiqu malahu riaa alnnasi wala yuminu biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri famathaluhu kamathali safwanin AAalayhi turabun faasabahu wabilun fatarakahu saldan la yaqdiroona AAala shayin mimma kasaboo waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alkafireena

Hilali & KhanO you who believe! Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury, like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men, and he does not believe in Allah, nor in the Last Day. His likeness is the likeness of a smooth rock on which is a little dust; on it falls heavy rain which leaves it bare. They are not able to do anything with what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Urdu translation
Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اے ایمان والو! اپنی خیرات کو احسان جتا کر اور ایذا پہنچا کر برباد نہ کرو! جس طرح وه شخص جو اپنا مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرے اور نہ اللہ تعالیٰ پر ایمان رکھے نہ قیامت پر، اس کی مثال اس صاف پتھر کی طرح ہے جس پر تھوڑی سی مٹی ہو پھر اس پر زوردار مینہ برسے اور وه اسے بالکل صاف اور سخت چھوڑ دے، ان ریاکاروں کو اپنی کمائی میں سے کوئی چیز ہاتھ نہیں لگتی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کافروں کی قوم کو (سیدھی) راه نہیں دکھاتا
