Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 96
البقرة · The Cow · verse 96 of 286
وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَاةٍ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ أَنْ يُعَمَّرَ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
Walatajidannahum ahrasa alnnasi AAala hayatin wamina allatheena ashrakoo yawaddu ahaduhum law yuAAammaru alfa sanatin wama huwa bimuzahzihihi mina alAAathabi an yuAAammara waAllahu baseerun bima yaAAmaloona

Hilali & KhanAnd verily, you will find them (the Jews) the greediest of mankind for life and (even greedier) than those who ascribe partners to Allah. One of them wishes that he could be given a life of a thousand years. But the grant of such life will not save him even a little from (due) punishment. And Allah is Seer of what they do.
Urdu translation
Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)بلکہ سب سے زیاده دنیا کی زندگی کا حریص اے نبی! آپ انہیں کو پائیں گے۔ یہ حرص زندگی میں مشرکوں سے بھی زیاده ہیں ان میں سے تو ہر شخص ایک ایک ہزار سال کی عمر چاہتا ہے، گویا یہ عمر دیا جانا بھی انہیں عذاب سے نہیں چھڑا سکتا، اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے کاموں کو بخوبی دیکھ رہا ہے
