طه · Ta-Ha · verse 134 of 135
وَلَوْ أَنَّا أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لَوْلَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ آيَاتِكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَذِلَّ وَنَخْزَىٰ
Walaw anna ahlaknahum biAAathabin min qablihi laqaloo rabbana lawla arsalta ilayna rasoolan fanattabiAAa ayatika min qabli an nathilla wanakhza

Hilali & KhanAnd if We had destroyed them with a torment before this, they would surely have said: "Our Lord! If only You had sent us a Messenger we should certainly have followed Your Ayat, before we were humiliated and disgraced."

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور اگر ہم اس سے پہلے ہی انہیں عذاب سے ہلاک کر دیتے تو یقیناً یہ کہہ اٹھتے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار تو نے ہمارے پاس اپنا رسول کیوں نہ بھیجا؟ کہ ہم تیری آیتوں کی تابعداری کرتے اس سے پہلے کہ ہم ذلیل ورسوا ہوتے
