الحج · The Pilgrimage · verse 46 of 78
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَٰكِنْ تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ
Afalam yaseeroo fee alardi fatakoona lahum quloobun yaAAqiloona biha aw athanun yasmaAAoona biha fainnaha la taAAma alabsaru walakin taAAma alquloobu allatee fee alssudoori

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر وسیاحت نہیں کی جو ان کے دل ان باتوں کے سمجھنے والے ہوتے یا کانوں سے ہی ان (واقعات) کو سن لیتے، بات یہ ہے کہ صرف آنکھیں ہی اندھی نہیں ہوتیں بلکہ وه دل اندھے ہو جاتے ہیں جو سینوں میں ہیں
