النور · The Light · verse 54 of 64
قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ وَإِنْ تُطِيعُوهُ تَهْتَدُوا وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
Qul ateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola fain tawallaw fainnama AAalayhi ma hummila waAAalaykum ma hummiltum wain tuteeAAoohu tahtadoo wama AAala alrrasooli illa albalaghu almubeena

If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way.") Allah says about the hypocrites who had promised the Messenger and sworn that if he were to command them to go out for battle, they would go:

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)کہہ دیجیئے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا حکم مانو، رسول اللہ کی اطاعت کرو، پھر بھی اگر تم نے روگردانی کی تو رسول کے ذمے تو صرف وہی ہے جو اس پر ﻻزم کردیا گیا ہے اور تم پر اس کی جوابدہی ہے جو تم پر رکھا گیا ہے ہدایت تو تمہیں اسی وقت ملے گی جب رسول کی ماتحتی کرو۔ سنو رسول کے ذمے تو صرف صاف طور پر پہنچا دینا ہے
