وَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ

Hilali & KhanAnd when Our messengers came to Lut, he was grieved because of them, and felt straitened on their account. They said: "Have no fear, and do not grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family except your wife: she will be of those who remain behind."

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)پھر جب ہمارے قاصد لوط (علیہ السلام) کے پاس پہنچے تو وه ان کی وجہ سے غمگین ہوئے اور دل ہی دل میں رنج کرنے لگے۔ قاصدوں نے کہا آپ نہ خوف کھایئے نہ آزرده ہوں، ہم آپ کو مع آپ کے متعلقین کے بچالیں گے مگر آپ کی بیوی کہ وه عذاب کے لیے باقی ره جانے والوں میں سے ہوگی
