وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى لَجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Hilali & KhanAnd they ask you to hasten on the torment, and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not!

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)یہ لوگ آپ سے عذاب کی جلدی کر رہے ہیں۔ اگر میری طرف سے مقرر کیا ہوا وقت نہ ہوتا تو ابھی تک ان کے پاس عذاب آچکا ہوتا، یہ یقینی بات ہے کہ اچانک ان کی بے خبری میں ان کے پاس عذاب آپہنچے گا
