Surah Ali 'Imran, Ayah 36
آل عمران · Family of Imran · verse 36 of 200
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَىٰ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنْثَىٰ وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Falamma wadaAAatha qalat rabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha waAllahu aAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa alththakaru kaalontha wainnee sammaytuha maryama wainnee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyataha mina alshshaytani alrrajeemi

Hilali & KhanThen when she gave birth to her, she said: "O my Lord! I have given birth to a female child, ـ and Allah knew better what she bore, ـ "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Maryam, and I seek refuge with You for her and for her offspring from Shaytan, the outcast."

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)جب بچی کو جنا تو کہنے لگیں کہ پروردگار! مجھے تو لڑکی ہوئی، اللہ تعالیٰ کو خوب معلوم ہے کہ کیا اوﻻد ہوئی ہے اور لڑکا لڑکی جیسا نہیں میں نے اس کا نام مریم رکھا، میں اسے اور اس کی اوﻻد کو شیطان مردود سے تیری پناه میں دیتی ہوں
