Surah Az-Zumar, Ayah 8
الزمر · The Troops · verse 8 of 75
وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنْسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُ نِعْمَةً مِنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ
Waitha massa alinsana durrun daAAa rabbahu muneeban ilayhi thumma itha khawwalahu niAAmatan minhu nasiya ma kana yadAAoo ilayhi min qablu wajaAAala lillahi andadan liyudilla AAan sabeelihi qul tamattaAA bikufrika qaleelan innaka min ashabi alnnari

Hilali & KhanAnd when some hurt touches man, he cries to his Lord, turning to Him in repentance. But when He bestows a favor upon him from Himself, he forgets that for which he cried for before, and he sets up rivals to Allah, in order to mislead others from His path. Say: "Take pleasure in your disbelief for a while, surely, you are (one) of the dwellers of the Fire!"

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور انسان کو جب کبھی کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وه خوب رجوع ہو کر اپنے رب کو پکارتا ہے، پھر جب اللہ تعالیٰ اسے اپنے پاس سے نعمت عطا فرمادیتا ہے تو وه اس سے پہلے جو دعا کرتا تھا اسے (بالکل) بھول جاتا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے شریک مقرر کرنے لگتا ہے جس سے (اوروں کو بھی) اس کی راه سے بہکائے، آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اپنے کفر کا فائده کچھ دن اور اٹھالو، (آخر) تو دوزخیوں میں ہونے واﻻ ہے
