غافر · The Forgiver · verse 21 of 85
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَآثَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ
Awa lam yaseeroo fee alardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena kanoo min qablihim kanoo hum ashadda minhum quwwatan waatharan fee alardi faakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim wama kana lahum mina Allahi min waqin

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)کیا یہ لوگ زمین میں چلے پھرے نہیں کہ دیکھتے کہ جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے ان کا نتیجہ کیسا کچھ ہوا؟ وه باعتبار قوت و طاقت کے اور باعتبار زمین میں اپنی یادگاروں کے ان سے بہت زیاده تھے، پس اللہ نے انہیں ان کے گناہوں پر پکڑ لیا اور کوئی نہ ہوا جو انہیں اللہ کے عذاب سے بچا لیتا
