وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ
Waqayyadna lahum quranaa fazayyanoo lahum ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wahaqqa AAalayhimu alqawlu fee omamin qad khalat min qablihim mina aljinni waalinsi innahum kanoo khasireena

Hilali & KhanAnd We have assigned for them intimate companions (in this world), who have made fair seeming to them, what was before them and what was behind them. And the Word is justified against them as it was justified against those who were among the previous generations of Jinn and men that had passed away before them. Indeed they (all) were the losers.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور ہم نے ان کے کچھ ہم نشیں مقرر کر رکھے تھے، جنہوں نے ان کے اگلے پچھلے اعمال ان کی نگاہوں میں خوبصورت بنا رکھے تھے اور ان کے حق میں بھی اللہ کا قول ان امتوں کے ساتھ پورا ہوا جو ان سے پہلے جنوں انسانوں کی گزر چکی ہیں۔ یقیناً وه زیاں کار ﺛابت ہوئے
