Surah Ash-Shuraa, Ayah 48
الشورى · The Consultation · verse 48 of 53
فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ وَإِنَّا إِذَا أَذَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا وَإِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ كَفُورٌ
Fain aAAradoo fama arsalnaka AAalayhim hafeethan in AAalayka illa albalaghu wainna itha athaqna alinsana minna rahmatan fariha biha wain tusibhum sayyiatun bima qaddamat aydeehim fainna alinsana kafoorun

Hilali & KhanBut if they turn away, We have not sent you as a Hafiz over them. Your duty is to convey. And verily, when We cause man to taste of mercy from Us, he rejoices there at; but when some evil befalls them because of the deeds which their hands have sent forth, then verily, man (becomes) ingrate!
Urdu translation
Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اگر یہ منھ پھیرلیں تو ہم نے آپ کو ان پر نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجا، آپ کے ذمہ تو صرف پیغام پہنچا دینا ہے، ہم جب کبھی انسان کو اپنی مہربانی کا مزه چکھاتے ہیں تو وه اس پر اترا جاتا ہے اور اگر انہیں ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے کوئی مصیبت پہنچتی ہے تو بےشک انسان بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے
