وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهُ بِالْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور عاد کے بھائی کو یاد کرو، جبکہ اس نے اپنی قوم کو احقاف میں ڈرایا اور یقیناً اس سے پہلے بھی ڈرانے والے گزر چکے ہیں اور اس کے بعد بھی یہ کہ تم سوائے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اور کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو، بیشک میں تم پر بڑے دن کے عذاب سے خوف کھاتا ہوں
