Surah Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 13
المائدة · The Table Spread · verse 13 of 120
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ مِيثَاقَهُمْ لَعَنَّاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَاسِيَةً يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ وَنَسُوا حَظًّا مِمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَائِنَةٍ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِنْهُمْ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Fabima naqdihim meethaqahum laAAannahum wajaAAalna quloobahum qasiyatan yuharrifoona alkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wanasoo haththan mimma thukkiroo bihi wala tazalu tattaliAAu AAala khainatin minhum illa qaleelan minhum faoAAfu AAanhum waisfah inna Allaha yuhibbu almuhsineena

Hilali & KhanSo, because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them and made their hearts grow hard. They changed the words from their (right) places and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of them. But forgive them and overlook (their misdeeds). Verily, Allah loves the doers of good.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)پھر ان کی عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان پر اپنی لعنت نازل فرمادی اور ان کے دل سخت کردیئے کہ وه کلام کو اس کی جگہ سے بدل ڈالتے ہیں اور جو کچھ نصیحت انہیں کی گئی تھی اس کا بہت بڑا حصہ بھلا بیٹھے، ان کی ایک نہ ایک خیانت پر تجھے اطلاع ملتی ہی رہے گی ہاں تھوڑے سے ایسے نہیں بھی ہیں پس توانہیں معاف کرتا جا اور درگزر کرتا ره، بےشک اللہ تعالیٰ احسان کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے
