Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 119
الأنعام · The Cattle · verse 119 of 165
وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُمْ مَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا اضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَائِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُعْتَدِينَ
Wama lakum alla takuloo mimma thukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi waqad fassala lakum ma harrama AAalaykum illa ma idturirtum ilayhi wainna katheeran layudilloona biahwaihim bighayri AAilmin inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu bialmuAAtadeena

Hilali & KhanAnd why should you not eat of that on which Allah's Name has been mentioned, while He has explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you, except under compulsion of necessity And surely, many do lead astray by their own desires through lack of knowledge. Certainly your Lord knows best the transgressors.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور آخر کیا وجہ ہے کہ تم ایسے جانور میں سے نہ کھاؤ جس پر اللہ کا نام لیا گیا ہو حاﻻنکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان سب جانوروں کی تفصیل بتادی ہے جن کو تم پر حرام کیا ہے، مگر وه بھی جب تم کو سخت ضرورت پڑجائے تو حلال ہے اور یہ یقینی بات ہے کہ بہت سے آدمی اپنے خیاﻻت پر بلا کسی سند کے گمراه کرتے ہیں۔ اس میں کوئی شبہ نہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ حد سے نکل جانے والوں کو خوب جانتا ہے
