Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 31
الأنعام · The Cattle · verse 31 of 165
قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ اللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُوا يَا حَسْرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمْ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
Qad khasira allatheena kaththaboo biliqai Allahi hatta itha jaathumu alssaAAatu baghtatan qaloo ya hasratana AAala ma farratna feeha wahum yahmiloona awzarahum AAala thuhoorihim ala saa ma yaziroona

Hilali & KhanThey indeed are losers who denied their meeting with Allah, until all of a sudden, the Hour (signs of death) is upon them, and they say: "Alas for us that we gave no thought to it," while they will bear their burdens on their backs; and evil indeed are the burdens that they will bear!

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)بےشک خساره میں پڑے وه لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ سے ملنے کی تکذیب کی، یہاں تک کہ جب وه معین وقت ان پر دفعتاً آ پہنچے گا، کہیں گے کہ ہائے افسوس ہماری کوتاہی پر جو اس کے بارے میں ہوئی، اور حالت ان کی یہ ہوگی کہ وه اپنے بار اپنی پیٹھوں پر ﻻدے ہوں گے، خوب سن لو کہ بری ہوگی وه چیز جس کو وه ﻻدیں گے
