قُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ قُلْ لَا أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَاءَكُمْ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ
Qul innee nuheetu an aAAbuda allatheena tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qul la attabiAAu ahwaakum qad dalaltu ithan wama ana mina almuhtadeena

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ مجھ کو اس سے ممانعت کی گئی ہے کہ ان کی عبادت کروں جن کو تم لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کو چھوڑ کر پکارتے ہو۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تمہاری خواہشات کی اتباع نہ کروں گا کیوں کہ اس حالت میں تو میں بے راه ہوجاؤں گا اور راه راست پر چلنے والوں میں نہ رہوں گا
