Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 124
الأنعام · The Cattle · verse 124 of 165
وَإِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ قَالُوا لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤْتَىٰ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ اللَّهِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا صَغَارٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَمْكُرُونَ
Waitha jaathum ayatun qaloo lan numina hatta nuta mithla ma ootiya rusulu Allahi Allahu aAAlamu haythu yajAAalu risalatahu sayuseebu allatheena ajramoo sagharun AAinda Allahi waAAathabun shadeedun bima kanoo yamkuroona

Hilali & KhanAnd when there comes to them a sign they say: "We shall not believe until we receive the like of that which the Messengers of Allah received." Allah knows best with whom to entrust His Message. Humiliation and disgrace from Allah and a severe torment will overtake the criminals for that which they used to plot.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور جب ان کو کوئی آیت پہنچتی ہے تو یوں کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ہرگز ایمان نہ ﻻئیں گے جب تک کہ ہم کو بھی ایسی ہی چیز نہ دی جائے جو اللہ کے رسولوں کو دی جاتی ہے، اس موقع کو تو اللہ ہی خوب جانتا ہے کہ کہاں وه اپنی پیغمبری رکھے؟ عنقریب ان لوگوں کو جنہوں نے جرم کیا ہے اللہ کے پاس پہنچ کر ذلت پہنچے گی اور ان کی شرارتوں کے مقابلے میں سخت سزائیں
