Surah At-Talaq, Ayah 1
الطلاق · The Divorce · verse 1 of 12
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرًا
Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu itha tallaqtumu alnnisaa fatalliqoohunna liAAiddatihinna waahsoo alAAiddata waittaqoo Allaha rabbakum la tukhrijoohunna min buyootihinna wala yakhrujna illa an yateena bifahishatin mubayyinatin watilka hudoodu Allahi waman yataAAadda hudooda Allahi faqad thalama nafsahu la tadree laAAalla Allaha yuhdithu baAAda thalika amran

Hilali & KhanO Prophet! When you divorce women, divorce them at their `Iddah and count their `Iddah. And have Taqwa of Allah, your Lord. And turn them not out of their homes nor shall they leave, except in case they are guilty of Fahishah Mubayyinah. And those are the set limits of Allah. And whosoever transgresses the set limits of Allah, then indeed he has wronged himself. You know not, it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.
Urdu translation
Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اے نبی! (اپنی امت سے کہو کہ) جب تم اپنی بیویوں کو طلاق دینا چاہو تو ان کی عدت (کے دنوں کے آغاز) میں انہیں طلاق دو اور عدت کا حساب رکھو، اور اللہ سے جو تمہارا پروردگار ہے ڈرتے رہو، نہ تم انہیں ان کے گھروں سے نکالو اور نہ وه (خود) نکلیں ہاں یہ اور بات ہے کہ وه کھلی برائی کر بیٹھیں، یہ اللہ کی مقرر کرده حدیں ہیں، جو شخص اللہ کی حدوں سے آگے بڑھ جائے اس نے یقیناً اپنے اوپر ﻇلم کیا، تم نہیں جانتے شاید اس کے بعد اللہ تعالیٰ کوئی نئی بات پیدا کر دے
