الطلاق · The Divorce · verse 2 of 12
فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ فَارِقُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأَشْهِدُوا ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلَّهِ ذَٰلِكُمْ يُوعَظُ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا
Faitha balaghna ajalahunna faamsikoohunna bimaAAroofin aw fariqoohunna bimaAAroofin waashhidoo thaway AAadlin minkum waaqeemoo alshshahadata lillahi thalikum yooAAathu bihi man kana yuminu biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri waman yattaqi Allaha yajAAal lahu makhrajan

Hilali & KhanThen when they are about to attain their term appointed, either take them back in a good manner or part with them in a good manner. And take as witness two just persons from among you. And establish the testimony for Allah. That will be an admonition given to him who believes in Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever has Taqwa of Allah, He will make a way for him to get out.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)پس جب یہ عورتیں اپنی عدت پوری کرنے کے قریب پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں یا تو قاعده کے مطابق اپنے نکاح میں رہنے دو یا دستور کے مطابق انہیں الگ کر دو اور آپس میں سے دو عادل شخصوں کو گواه کر لو اور اللہ کی رضامندی کے لیے ٹھیک ٹھیک گواہی دو۔ یہی ہے وه جس کی نصیحت اسے کی جاتی ہے جو اللہ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو اور جو شخص اللہ سے ڈرتا ہے اللہ اس کے لیے چھٹکارے کی شکل نکال دیتا ہے
